Since flowers have become such a big (and expensive) part of weddings, it is important to select a top-notch florist. Here are some tips for selecting a florist:
- Ask for recommendations from family and friends
- Ask for recommendations from your venue and/or church for a florist who works there on a regular basis and is familiar with the site
When meeting with a potential florist, you should:
- Make sure that they are flexible to accommodate your wants but not unrealistic
- Look at the florist's place of business and the set ups that they have available for you to view on hand
- Ask about their experience and for references
Lastly, you should go to the florist with an open mind and be receptive to change. Remember, your flower choice may not be in season or suitable for your location.
